Seremoni is looking for a Senior Trade and Field Marketing Manager to join our growing team in El Segundo, CA. This role is critical in bridging sales and marketing by owning brand visibility and driving awareness of Seremoni Grade fish across retail, foodservice (trade), and consumer (field) channels.
This is a highly hands-on role for someone who thrives in the field, loves bringing brand to life in-person, and is excited to build at the intersection of food, restaurants, and technology. You’ll work directly with chefs, retailers, and fishermen across the country while helping scale a fast-growing seafood company.
What you get to do:
You’ll play a key role in bringing Seremoni to life in the world by owning and supporting everything from trade shows to consumer-facing events. You will lead how we show up, what we say when we do, and you’ll manage the team that helps bring it all to life.
Responsibilities may include:
- Plan, produce, and execute trade shows, industry events, and conferences end-to-end from logistics to on-site execution.
- Partner closely with the sales team to support all in-person showcases, tastings, and account-specific events, ensuring the brand shows up best-in-class, i.e. Seafood Expo North America, Barcelona Seafood Expo Global, National Restaurant Association Show, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on larger-scale consumer and industry awareness events, helping bring campaigns to life offline, i.e. Aspen Food & Wine, Pebble Beach Food & Wine, etc.
- Develop and manage event and trade show toolkits, including signage, collateral, booth design, product storytelling
- Support retail and shopper marketing initiatives, including in-store activations, demos, merchandising, and promotional programs.
- Hire and manage a crew of local freelance Brand Ambassadors who will support all trade/field events, educating on and serving Seremoni.
- Set up field marketing training/education and ensure brand messaging is shared at all field/ trade touchpoints.
- Own field marketing logistics including vendor coordination, shipping, inventory, and on-site setup.
- Track performance and impact of trade and field initiatives, providing insights and recommendations to improve ROI
- Act as a brand steward in the field, ensuring consistency, quality, and a premium experience at every touchpoint.
What you will need:
- 4+ years of progressive experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, or event marketing within CPG, event planning or Food & Beverage
- Proven track record of developing and executing natural and account-specific trade marketing strategies that drive measurable sales lift and ROI
- Demonstrated experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build annual trade calendars, align to brand priorities, and deliver against volume and revenue goals
- Demonstrated experience working with creative partners and external trade and POS vendors
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable plans for internal and external audiences
- Strong organizational skills and operational rigor, including budget management, forecasting, and program tracking.
- Ability to work from the El Segundo, CA office, with semi-frequent travel for events
