Overview: Create and maintain best-in-class customer service, both externally and internally by being the day-to-day point of contact with clients, and the Seremoni Sales and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

Inside sales -- act as the day-to-day point of contact with existing customers, in coordination with Sales Directors.

  • Communicate with Operations and Procurement teams and stay fully informed on inventory levels by product and timing for order fulfillment.
  • Communicate with clients and proactively get orders.
  • Enter orders into Demand Planning (or similar tool).
  • Coordinate order fulfillment with Seremoni Ops team.
  • Keep clients up-to-date and informed on timing and status of order fulfillment.
  • Keep clients informed on current product offerings and pricing.
  • Manage all the paperwork back and forth between Seremoni and customers.
  • When required, uses product knowledge to inform customer of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, specs, etc.
  • Manage and solve customer problems and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Ensure timely payments by clients and do A/R follow-up as needed.
  • Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.
  • Maintains customer name, contact and delivery info data base.

Pack and ship samples

  • Work with Operations team to coordinate sample order fulfillment.
  • Where applicable, follow established Seremoni SOPs to personally pack and ship samples to a Seremoni Grade, best-in-class, standard.
  • Monitor and confirm delivery of samples.

Assist in prospecting

  • Chef/Restaurant Ambassador Prospecting. Work in tandem with Seremoni CEO, Director of Culinary, and Sales and Marketing teams to assist in prospecting and outreach to potential Chef and Restaurant Ambassador targets.
  • Sales Prospecting – Distributors, Retailers, Foodservice. Work in tandem with Seremoni CEO and Sales team to assist in prospecting and outreach to potential clients.
  • Brand Partner Prospecting – Work in tandem with Seremoni CEO and VP of Marketing to assist in prospecting for brand partners.

Other Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and shipping of POS, marketing materials, merch.
  • Monitor and respond as per Seremoni SOPs to info@, orders@, etc. emails and IG inquiries, keeping the appropriate Seremoni team members in the loop.
  • QC – assist in Quality Control functions when and where needed.
  • Ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Strong food industry knowledge, preferably with some food handling skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator (phone/text/email) with strong writing and verbal skills and the ability to develop a very constructive rapport with clients.
  • Desire to work early morning hours.
  • Strong excel/spreadsheet skills.
