Who we are

Neros is a defense technology company rebuilding America’s drone industrial base. We design and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are tested in combat, iterated at startup speed, and built at massive scale. Our team culture is fast, hands-on, and obsessed with closing the gap between design and deployment.

As drones transform the character of warfare, Neros is delivering the systems the West needs to compete on the modern battlefield and deter the adversaries of democracy. We’re hiring engineers, operators, and builders who want to move fast, take on extreme ownership, and get capability into the hands of warfighters in months, not years.

What you will be doing

As Lead Technical Trainer at Neros, you’ll own the strategy and day-to-day execution of technical training that enables technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams to build, test, and sustain Neros systems safely and at scale. You’ll translate engineering intent into clear, repeatable training programs and certify readiness across the production and NPI line.

You should have the following

  • 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Technical Training, or similar roles
  • People leadership experience
  • Proven ability to design, manage, and deliver training programs from concept to completion
  • Strong facilitation skills — able to engage and train both technicians and leaders
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment strongly preferred
  • Strong collaborator and communicator who can partner effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on training impact and measurable outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or maintaining a formal technician certification program, training matrix, or LMS for a manufacturing team
  • Background in aerospace, drones, robotics, electronics, defense manufacturing, or another high-reliability hardware environment
  • Hands-on experience with production test, inspection, troubleshooting, rework, or quality processes, especially in a fast ramp or NPI environment
  • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, standard work, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement methods used to improve technician performance
  • Experience training across multiple shifts, products, or sites while keeping training standards consistent and records audit-ready
