Who we are

Neros is transforming a defense industry mired in costly, behemoth machinery—to circumvent a looming vulnerability gap, to give dismounted soldiers a fighting chance against tanks, and ultimately, to get as many humans off the battlefield as possible.

While consumer technology is evolving by bounds on the smaller-cheaper-better path, U.S. defense technology wallows in the large, centralized, and wildly expensive paradigm. Our air, land, and sea machinery budget is staggering; yet these large assets can still be vulnerable to very small weapons. When swarm technology comes into its own, the asymmetry will escalate. Nowhere is the pattern more glaring than in small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS)—drones.

What you will be doing

As the executive assistant to our CEO (and CTO as needed), you will be critical in supporting the rapid growth of Neros. On a day to day, you will assist our founders in solving problems of all scale--from filtering inboxes to communicating with leaders, engineers, investors, and more. We will rely on this person to optimize our founders' time, conduct light office management, book travel/ conferences, draft communications/presentations and more. You should have the following

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) of supporting high level executives in dynamic and fast moving environments
  • Have exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Are able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are adept at drafting professional emails and managing confidential information with appropriate discretion
  • Have a strong command of scheduling/calendar software
  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and anticipating the CEO's needs
  • Are flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and the dynamics of a rapidly growing company
