MoldCo is pioneering a direct-to-consumer telehealth platform for Mold Toxicity, also known as Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS). We're dedicated to providing accessible, evidence-based care for this often misdiagnosed and overlooked condition. We are a venture-backed company and have exclusively partnered with the world-renowned scientists and physicians in Mold Illness, who have developed a patented and science-backed approach across 30 years of research that has already treated 30,000 individuals.

About the Role:

We're seeking a well-licensed, tech-savvy physician (MD / DO) to join our founding care team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of MoldCo and revolutionize Mold Illness care. Initially, you will be directly involved in making specialized care accessible to patients in our key launch states. As we grow, you'll have the chance to take on leadership responsibilities, including supervising new team members and contributing to hiring decisions. Your insights will be crucial in refining our clinical guidelines and driving innovation within our telehealth platforms / products.

This is a full-time role and fully remote. You’ll work Monday through Friday. You will report to our Medical Director, the world expert in the space.

You will:

  • Provide virtual care (via video initial visits and asynchronous messaging) for patients with suspected Mold Illness/CIRS, according to practice guidelines and our proprietary, evidence-based protocols
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments, including thorough review of symptoms, medical history, and environmental factors
  • Issue lab orders and prescription medications as appropriate
  • Educate patients on the health impacts of mold exposure, and diagnostic and treatment options available via content on our platform
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our treatment protocols and digital health solutions

You have:

  • MD or DO from an accredited school in the United States, with board certification
  • 2+ years of post-residency experience in an in-person, outpatient care office
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients virtually
  • Familiarity with mold-related illnesses or health impacts from environmental exposures
  • Familiarity or ability to interface with patients virtually via a telehealth platform to provide necessary care and digital follow-up
  • Licenses in at least 20 states

Bonus points if you have:

  • Proficiency in telemedicine and digital health platforms
  • Interstate Medical Licensure Compact license (strongly preferred)
  • 50-state license

  • Ability to identify digital product improvement opportunities, and coordinate with the product team to implement feedback
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to innovative healthcare solutions
  • Ability to recognize individual patient needs
  • A commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
  • Clear communicator of treatment goals, objectives, and timelines to patients via async messaging and written articles
