About this Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Grants Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Eridan's government-funded projects. This role will be critical in ensuring compliance with grant requirements, timely reporting, and the successful execution of projects aligned with Eridan’s mission and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, government contracting, and grant compliance, with exceptional organizational and communication skills. A technical background is strongly preferred to bridge the gap between project management and technical execution.
As our Grants Project Manager, you will:
Grant Management:
- Develop comprehensive plans for utilizing grant funds effectively to meet project objectives.
- Manage the lifecycle of government grants -including proposal submissions, budget creation, compliance, and closeout.
- Monitor progress to ensure goals and timelines are being met.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (e.g., FAR, GAAP) and grant-specific guidelines.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress and financial reports to granting agencies in a timely manner.
- Oversee compliance with all grant terms and conditions.
Goal Setting and Progress Tracking:
- Set measurable goals and realistic timelines for grant-funded projects.
- Continuously monitor project milestones to ensure alignment with grant deliverables.
- Create management dashboards to communicate, display, and track system owners' progress in achieving the project goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with inter-departmental teams, stakeholders, and executives to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Act as a liaison between Eridan and government agencies to resolve issues, address inquiries, and maintain strong relationships.
Budget Oversight:
- Track and manage grant budgets to optimize resource allocation and prevent overages.
- Assist in preparing audits and documentation for funding agencies.
- Execute task order on schedule, budget, and monitor quality throughout the execution of the project.
Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement best practices for grant management, documentation, and compliance tracking.
- Present project updates, findings, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualities of a Successful Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Certification in PMP preferred)
- 3+ years of experience managing government grants or projects in a technical or high-growth environment.
- 2 years experience in NIST (National Institute of Science & Technology) grant processes
- Knowledge of federal grant regulations, including GAAP and FAR
- Proven experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance in government-funded projects.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence or similar).
Nice to Have Skills:
- Electrical Engineering background
- Experience in a high-tech manufacturing or telecommunications environment.
- Familiarity with wireless communication technologies, RF systems, or related industries.
- PMP or similar certification.

Salary Range
Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $115,000 and $145,000 plus stock options and benefits.
