About this Job
This role is 5-6 weeks only! As a Soldering and Rework Technician at Eridan you will play a critical role in supporting the upcoming deployment of our commercial product. A successful Electronic Technician will be an organized and detail oriented individual with a mastery of PCBA assembly and rework.
Given the temporary role, this Technician must be willing to learn new processes quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working with cross functional team members, have excellent communication skills, and provide feedback to improve existing processes. This position requires that the Electronic Technician work onsite at our Sunnyvale office Monday though Friday.
As our Soldering and Rework Technician, you will:
- Rework PCBAs with various fine pitch packages. 0402 and 0201 are common.
- Use schematics and PCB layouts
- Use some lab equipment like Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Power Supply
- Create custom wiring harnesses
- Assist with engineering prototype experiments
- Follow documented processes for assembly and test
- Follow ESD handling best practices
Qualities of a Successful Candidate
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- IPC certification
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to use a computer
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with cross functional team members
