About this Job

We are looking for a Senior Director of Quality to lead and reshape our quality operations, processes, and documentation, ensuring our transition from high-quality internal production to world-class production at a Contract Manufacturer (CM). This role is integral to our success as we scale production and achieve regulatory certifications.

As our Senior Director of Quality, you will:

  • Lead Quality Operations: Oversee and perform incoming and outgoing quality control for all components, PCBAs, enclosures, and systems.
  • Process Improvement: Identify quality and technical gaps in manufacturing processes, crafting best-in-class SOPs and process documentation.
  • Auditing & Enforcement: Conduct regular audits of real-time manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Supplier Oversight: Build and maintain a deep understanding of Eridan’s supplier base, from wafer production to final assembly, test, and packaging (FATP). Collaborate with suppliers to implement quality improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key player in cross-functional teams, contributing your expert opinion and partnering with operations, engineering, and other stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Certification: Ensure that all regulatory certifications are achieved under your supervision.
  • Quality Culture Development: Establish and foster a culture of quality across the organization, promoting accountability and high standards at all levels.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

  • 7+ years experience in a technology hardware company, with quality, design or manufacturing responsibility for electronic systems and/or semiconductor IC’s
  • Proven ability to self-start, take initiative, and execute with a bias for action, while balancing collaboration and following processes.
  • Deep expertise in hardware production cycles/stages and supply chain dynamics, from wafer production and IC packaging to final assembly, packaging, and shipping.
  • Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to craft and refine SOPs and quality processes.
  • Proficiency with modern tools and technologies used in quality management, design, and manufacturing, including data analysis software, ERP systems, and advanced production monitoring tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working in an RF hardware production environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Arena, Microsoft Office 360, and Google Docs.

Salary Range

Given our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors. The base salary range for the primary location of this role is between $155,000 and $195,000 plus stock options and benefits.
