This is a part-time, on-site position located in New Orleans, LA.

ROLE MISSION

The HR Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Director of HR and is entrusted with the mission to lead and inspire technological excellence, propelling ADVANO to the forefront of innovation in the battery materials and energy storage space, with a specific focus on advancing REALSi technologies.

The mission of this position is to successfully carry out various administrative tasks related to HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of HR processes in alignment with the Company’s overarching business strategic goals and direction.

Together, we aim to shape the future of energy storage, providing sustainable and impactful solutions that address the evolving needs of our world and establishing ADVANO as a trailblazer in the dynamic landscape of silicon anode technology.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Recruitment Support:

  • Assist in job posting on various platforms and job boards.

  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.

  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers.

  • Assist in conducting initial interviews and reference checks.

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Coordinate new hire orientation sessions.

  • Prepare new hire paperwork and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

  • Process employee terminations and conduct exit interviews.

  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.

  • Coordinate with benefits providers and ensure timely processing of benefits-related paperwork.

  • Support in the administration of employee wellness programs.

HR Policy and Compliance:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR information.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide administrative support in employee relations matters.

  • Assist in resolving employee grievances and conflicts.

  • Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement initiatives.

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and CEO as needed.

  • Maintain and update HR documents, such as employee handbooks and organizational charts.

  • Assist with HR-related projects and initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Highschool Diploma required and 2-3 years of relevant work experience

  • Entrepreneurial “out of the box” thinker who is creative, responsive, flexible, and able to productively challenge business paradigms

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role.

  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Excellent written and oral skills for clarity with succinct delivery of messages for organizational alignment

  • PC skills to include knowledge of MS Office Applications
