QUALITY & RECEIVING INVENTORY SPECIALIST - EL SEGUNDO, CA

As a Quality & Receiving Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating kitting processes, and ensuring adherence to AS9100D quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive incoming inventory to ensure it meets all design requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of aerospace components and materials.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand requirements and compile kits accordingly.
  • Ensure all inventory and kitting activities comply with AS9100D standards.
  • Identify and address non-conformances, implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, kit accuracy, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensure that the internal database correctly captures movements of all components and kits.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or High school diploma and 5+ years of relative experience
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Capability to use mechanical measurement instruments (calipers, gauges, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with AS9100D quality management system requirements.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ ERP Systems like SAP
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials and components
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently
